The Left Caucus of the Democratic Party
Rep My BlockA Rep My Block project

Map the left. Organize the left.

A common political map spanning revolutionary and anarchist currents through progressive, communist, socialist, and green traditions, with centrist and liberal caucuses shown alongside them to make the center-left boundary visible.

European-model political map

The left as a political family, not a single point.

This map adapts the radial-parliament idea used by EuropeanModel.us. Under the European convention, the Left is shown in red. Each sector below is clickable. Left tendencies remain red, Green remains green, while Centrist and Liberal are deliberately blue to distinguish the political center from the socialist and progressive left.

The institutional project

Recognition across the Democratic Party.

The Left Caucus was launched on November 30, 2025 with a specific objective: every major left tendency should be able to organize as a formally recognized caucus within Democratic Party institutions in all 50 states.

01
Organize the tendencies Let socialists, greens, communists, anarchists, revolutionaries, and progressives organize under their own political identities.
02
Participate in party institutions Work through precincts, county committees, state parties, conventions, clubs, caucuses, and the wider DNC structure.
03
Secure formal recognition Make ideological pluralism a permanent and transparent part of Democratic Party organization.
International connection

Member of the Progressive Alliance.

The Left Caucus identifies the Progressive Alliance as its international political connection, placing the American democratic left in conversation with progressive, socialist, social-democratic, and labour parties around the world.

See the whole political map

The Left Caucus is one side of a larger system.

The purpose of the map is not to collapse political differences. It is to make them visible, understandable, and organized.
